These homeowners wanted their front yard to relate to the aesthetic of their mid-century modern home.

The Solution

We graded this yard to create a raised, stabilized gravel patio space that is retained by a steel edge.

Linear, steel-edged planters with gridded plantings contribute to the modern aesthetic.

The perimeter planting areas transition to a more natural form; basins lined with fractured rock and natural plant groupings.
