Nathan Clark

Co-Owner, Water Harvesting Tech, Gardener

A Tucson native and UA alumni, I love this place we call home and am committed to making it the coolest place it’s ever been. With a grounded and logical approach to problem solving, I draw upon 10 years of contracting experience to finish the job right, every time. Groomed by the likes of the Community Food Bank and Watershed Management Group, I bring with me a focus on education, food justice, and hard work. I am so excited for the opportunity to engage the community through collaboratively designing, building, and managing landscapes to restore biodiverse wildlife habitats, beautify our neighborhoods, and create multi-purpose outdoor living spaces. I won’t stop until Tucson is a leader for the world to follow.

In my free time, I enjoy horticulture, spending time with family, cooking, brewing, baking, biking, reading, travel, and vermiculture.

I believe strongly in the interconnection between environmental and human health. Through a holistic and collaborative design approach, I strive to help people create livable landscapes that offer opportunities for enriching social and environmental interactions.

I earned a Bachelor of Science in Plant Sciences and a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Arizona. I have been professionally designing and installing landscapes since 2010. In the past, I worked with larger landscape architecture firms on public-scale projects, I worked with the University of Arizona on grant-funded community projects, and I also worked with Watershed Management Group as the Residential Design-Build Program Manager.

When it rains I love to choose projects to visit to see our work in action.

When I'm not designing outdoor living spaces, I'm spending time away from the city; playing with my kids; raising rabbits, quail, and sheep; and scheming about how to make Tucson more like a garden.
