These snowbirds are starting to create their winter oasis. It is a low-care landscape that requires little attention while they are away for the summer months. Additionally, roof runoff from the scuppers no longer erodes or pools at the base of the house; rather, it flows away from the house to the basin planting areas. The diverse plant palette enhances the habitat value of this space and provides a diversity of color and texture.
