While working with the Drachman Institute, Iylea coordinated the design and installation of an activity courtyard at this local middle school.  The project helped transform a large expanse of gravel into an area for a variety of educational and social activities.  Site features included a sand volleyball court, a community garden, and water harvesting basins with native trees and fruit trees.

The water harvesting basins with native trees help form areas where lunch tables are placed. In a few years the students and community will enjoy a lovely tree canopy.

Fruit trees planted were fig, pomegranate, limequat, and mandarin orange.
